About the specialist
Dr Armands Baltušs is a dermatology resident whose professional focus is the diagnosis of skin conditions and the considered use of modern device-based technologies in dermatology. At RDG Clinic, he consults in Latvian, Russian, English and German.
During his studies at the Faculty of Medicine of Riga Stradiņš University, Dr Baltušs was already involved in research. At the 2017 RSU International Student Conference, he co-authored a study on the antibacterial efficiency of titanium dioxide ceramics with chlorhexidine against Staphylococcus epidermidis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The work was presented in the Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology, Microbiology and Immunology session.
In his clinical work, Dr Baltušs combines careful skin assessment with an individualized approach, paying particular attention to the appropriate use of technology and clear, understandable consultations.
