RDG Clinic · assessment of thin and sun-exposed skin
Eye-area, neck and décolleté skin rejuvenation
Skin around the eyes and on the neck, décolleté, hands and forearms is thinner or more sun-exposed, so a facial treatment cannot automatically be extended to it. The doctor first determines whether the main concern is hydration, pigment, vessels, texture or tissue resilience.
- Each area assessed separately
- Conservative method and depth
- Realistic recovery and outcome
One possible route
Mesotherapy is adapted to the concern and area
Dr Olga Zaikovska explains how mesotherapy products are selected for pigmentation, redness, dehydration or the eye area. It is one option; biorevitalisation, polynucleotides, IPL, laser or skin-care adjustment may be more appropriate.

Among the many new injectable treatments, classic mesotherapy should not be forgotten. It has been used in medicine for many years, and the product is selected according to the specific concern and the patient’s needs. Mesotherapy may form part of a plan for pigmentation, redness, poor tissue drainage, or dehydrated skin. More fluid hyaluronic-acid products generally settle faster, so injection marks may be short-lived. Specific formulations are also available for the eye area. A specialist determines suitability, formulation, and course after consultation.

Before your visit
Common questions about delicate-area rejuvenation
Can one product be used in every area?
Not always. Skin thickness, anatomy, vessels and swelling risk vary. Product, depth and amount are selected for each area.
What if the eye area is puffy?
The type and possible causes of puffiness should be assessed first. Some injections may not be suitable, so treatment is not selected from fine lines alone.
Can hand pigmentation simply be removed with laser?
A doctor must first confirm that the mark is benign and identify the pigment type. Laser is not appropriate for every lesion.
Can all areas be treated in one day?
Sometimes, but a staged plan is often safer and more practical. It depends on method, total intensity and recovery.
How important is SPF on the neck, décolleté and hands?
Very important. These areas receive substantial UV exposure, and pigment and photoageing can continue after procedures without daily protection.
One consultation, coordinated plan
Treat each area according to its anatomy, not a trend
Book a consultation and list every area you want assessed. The doctor will set priorities and build a conservative staged plan.
