We are at Riga Dermatology Group Clinic. Creating this clinic was my goal and my dream, because I worked at other clinics for many years and saw what was missing and what was needed. In my view, to achieve beautiful skin — as I see and understand it — first we need a foundation: everything required for skin health, including dermatology services and consultations.

Second, patients need access to regular skin care: cosmetology services, massage, peels, and basic device-based procedures. Doctors also very often need additional intravenous treatments. That means we need an excellent and genuinely experienced nurse, who is highly skilled at venous access, so that I can prescribe infusion therapy and prepare the patient as well as possible for the more serious procedures I perform.

I prepare the patient, order examinations, and develop the treatment plan. My cosmetologists and dermatologists then perform preparatory treatments, injections, or device-based procedures. The nurse is involved too. I review the latest test results and then proceed to more substantial treatments, such as device-based procedures, resurfacing, and so on.

From dermatology consultations and treatment of skin conditions to modern laser procedures, injections, and anti-ageing programmes. An honest approach, medical precision, and long-term results.

My first recommendation to every patient is to take their overall health very seriously. That is, of course, the foundation. Second, when it comes to skin health, use SPF. Deliberately lying and baking in the sun is not sensible at all.

My third recommendation is to see a good, sensible dermatologist or cosmetologist in good time. They will make a plan, teach you how to use skin-care products, and explain what is and is not suitable. They will recommend which procedures to begin with — either a cosmetologist or dermatologist can do this — so that the first anti-ageing procedures help you feel happier with what you see in the mirror.
